[Personality]
Rarity is essentially the most feminine of all the ponies in Ponyville.
She loves - no adores - fashion and her generosity is next to none with this even in mind as she enjoys making other ponies lovely outfits for them without really expecting anything in return from them. One of her most important loves besides fashion has to be jewels; lovely, sparkly things that she can never turn away from, using them in her fashion outfits she creates for the others.
It's not any surprise that while she wishes for the life and luxury of a rich pony, she'd rather be with her friends more than anything else, so despite she can get annoyed at times or even jealous of them and what they could accomplish, it's not as if she has a truly hateful bone in her body. Once she's able to overcome her emotions, she's able to be supportive and there for her friends when they need her. Notably with this in mind, Rarity is a perfectionist and doesn't stop until something is just perfect in her eyes and this comes essentially with everything she does from her fashion, to something like putting together baskets and wearing only the best ensembles.
In fact if no pony stops her, she will go ahead and give them a makeover complete with a new outfit, believing everypony should look good in their everyday lives and it makes her happy seeing others enjoy her work.
She's also at heart a fairly big drama queen and isn't afraid of showing it, living up pretty good to that 'rich pony' attitude in that she hates things like dirt, imperfection and lying on the ground. Always maintaining a lovely, immaculately done mane, but it doesn't make her a snob like most ponies would think with that attitude, as she can easily appreciate things when ponies give something to her and is rather polite and courteous. Though she's not just this dainty pony all the time, as in Sisterhooves Social, she got down and dirty in a competition with her little sister to make it up to her for how she'd treated her earlier in the episode. She's a loving and caring sister and can make compromises, even with her sister who sometimes just drives her absolutely mad, but everyone has their points that annoys them, right? On this note, she's really quite witty and sassy and managed to convince the Diamond Dogs to not only let her leave after they abducted her, but let her leave with a few cartfuls of various jewels. Showing those traits and also how resourceful she can be and that she is able to take control of a situation if she really needs to.
She's also essentially the most well-spoken of the mane six ponies, using formal and more sophisticated speech when she speaks. Very polite and put together with a killer eye to detail that is rather admirable to most. Though with this stylishness of hers, it's no surprise that her dream is to someday become this BIG star of Canterlot someday and she will go on and on if nopony stops her. Which brings up that Rarity, like any fashion-savvy pony, LOVES anything high-end she can get her hooves on and cannot stand getting anything less than that, and if she has to, she will talk others into helping her into this happening as she seems to be persuasive with most ponies in Equestria. It doesn't help either that with talking she loves to hear her own voice and will go on and on if she's allowed to.
When it comes to it, Rarity really has a lot more to her than most ponies seem to think.

- What do you think of your home world?
I really do like it. Equestria is quite a lovely place to live in, if I say so myself.
- If you could change your current lifestyle or job career, what would it be?
Goodness, no! I absolutely adore the life and job I have now, so changing it really is out of the question... however this may just be temporary until my true dream comes true. Like becoming an absolute star in Canterlot someday, and the one pony all the others will just be DYING to meet and wanting to wear all the clothes I design!
- Oh no! Someone tripped and injured themselves right in front of you! What do you do?
I... I would offer to help them if there was something a pony like me would be able to do. I certainly am not cruel enough to just leave them alone there.
- Do you believe in the magic of friendship?
Mm! Naturally! It's really quite strong and not to be underestimated.
- What disgusts you the most?
If I'm honest, I absolutely abhor dirt, mud and getting any on me is definitely something I would ever hope not to do. It's really quite disgusting, but I will only do it IF the situation calls for it, nothing less, mind you.
- What pleases you the most?
Hmmm... it would have to be the happy looks on ponies' faces when they are pleased with the outfits and ensembles I've made for them. They should be, of course. Being dressed so fabulously, who isn't going to notice them now after this?
- Hey, did you hear about that giant sale going on? Interested? What would you want to get?
[ Her eyes practically light up at this though she seems to almost be offended for a moment. ] WHAT?! There's a sale going on right now and nopony told me?! No, No NO this cannot do at all!! I MUST be the first pony in line, before all of the magnificent apparel is gone! I can NOT stand getting the left overs! The next to-be star of Canterlot can't afford to not look her best in any situation after all and it would be quite dreadful if someone caught me when I was not my absolute best!

"Mmm.. no... no that won't do at all... not the right color...AH! Wonderful!! It's the perfect! Thank you~" Rarity practically cooed, blue eyes alight with happiness as she trotted out from the store, all of her bags floating behind her with her telekinetic magic.
She seemed overly happy and with good reason!
It was only once in one's lifetime when they were able to find the most PERFECT color of material for an ensemble; let alone one she was making for a friend. Though she'd been here for some time now, the concept of these strange 'humans' was still so surreal, but at least she no longer was accusing them of kidnapping her and fretting over a way to get home. She'd managed to not only adjust but had set up the most wonderful shop in the one district and while it wasn't as perfect as she would have liked, it was enough that she'd been satisfied and was able to work out of there and her home was not too far from her shop - though she disliked walking long distances as they really exhausted her SO much. She was rather courteous to all the humans as they walked by, a smile curling her lips as she kept down the street, humming a soft tune under her breath as her royal purple curls bounced with her steps.
She was obviously the most wonderful and interesting thing these poor 'people' had seen, and as such, only made her feel as if she had to be at her best; lest the humans have to see a undignified pony and that would be the end of her if that happened.
Indeed it was a bit upsetting that her friends weren't here, asides from Rainbow Dash which was better than nothing and someone to talk to if she did find herself lonely. Not that Opalescence was bad company but she certainly couldn't speak when she needed a friend to talk to.
"My, that's not the way I should be thinking at all. Certainly in time they will all arrive here! I absolutely MUST have some lovely outfits made for them for the day they arrive! Looking good is best, and if I can have everyone wearing something positively GORGEOUS, it will make such an impression and surely someone will notice me and while this certainly is nothing like Canterlot, I would adore being the star here just as well!" She nodded her head with a mutely assured smile on her face, a dreamy look in her blue eyes as she turned the corner and headed toward her shop without fail.
After all. She had a lot of work to do and dawdling around wouldn't do at all.
[Why do you want to play this character in Somarium?] Well I've always wanted to give Rainbow Dash a castmate, that and I think she'd be wonderful addition to the game because what game doesn't need more brightly colored - and dramatic - ponies? I can also see her setting up shop here too and potential for a lot of fun =D
[Which rule was your favorite and why?] No Godmodding. Godmodding is awful and rude to people, so it's good to see some games have rules to enforce it doesn't happen.
